Keystone, CO (March 28th, 2022): Peak Health Alliance today named Anne Ladd as Interim CEO effective May 1, 2022. Ladd is currently serving Peak as a consultant to departing CEO Claire Brockbank and will step into the leadership role while the Board of Directors conducts an executive search.
For over three decades, Ms. Ladd has worked on healthcare payment reform, quality improvement, and system redesign with self-funded employers across the country. She served as the CEO of the Wyoming Business Coalition on Health for 12 years before going to work for the Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH), a coalition focused on improving health insurance efficiencies and cost savings for purchasers.
Ms. Ladd has also worked for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California, Anthem (then Blue Cross Blue Shield of Colorado and New Mexico) as Director of Strategic Planning and Market Research, and as a consultant for new product development at Kaiser in Colorado.
“The Peak Health mission of making affordable healthcare more accessible to local residents while ensuring local hospitals and physicians are able to continue providing services is essential to the long-term health of our rural communities both physically and economically,” said Ladd. “I’m passionate about this work because of what it means to individuals, families and businesses. Claire and her team have made meaningful change to the lives of Coloradans and I’m looking forward to helping carry that mission forward.”
“Anne brings a deep understanding of health care economics and a passion for identifying, organizing, and implementing positive disruptions to the health care delivery system resulting in greater value,” said Peak Health Alliance Board Chair Don Dankner.
